Here are some of the events coming up in support of the Campaign. Please come along and join us.

Minchinhampton to Cirencester 10 mile walk: following the route of the original stone from the quarry to the Town Hall
A group of walkers followed this route on an inaugural walk in June, collecting sponsorship for the Campaign. Copies of the trail leaflet (including the maps and information about the route) are available for £1 for anyone who would like to do the walk on a self-guided basis. Please contact the Campaign Office for a leaflet.

Mother & Daughter, an Exhibition of Landscapes by Kathy & Sarah Priddis: Sunday 29th August - Monday 6th September at the Parish Church. Preview evening Saturday 28th August, 5.30 - 7.30. £5.00 per person on the door. Kathy is an internationally known portrait & landsape painter, a potter and a published author. She is married to Anthony, Bishop of Hereford. Sarah is their daughter, currently working in PR and living in London. These paintings are from her 'Blue Period'. Artists' donation of 12.5% of the commission on sales will be given to the Campaign. Please see www.kathypriddis.co.uk

Dannicus to Daniel: Romans, Abbots, Aristocrats and Artisans
Four illustrated talks on characters in Cirencester’s history, given by Alan Welsford in support of the Campaign. 1) Romans - 24 September, 2) Abbots - 8 October, 3) Aristocrats - 22 October and 4) Artisans - 5 November. Drinks available. GHCT Ride and Stride 2010:  Saturday 11 September   This is a sponsored walk, cycle or horse ride around Gloucestershire churches.  Participants devise their own route, to be as easy or as strenuous as they wish, and raise money for a church of their choice and for the county trust.  For more details email rideandstride@ghct.org.uk

Cake Sale: Saturday 11th September. Cirencester Male Voice Choir is holding a Table Top Sale at Watermoor Church Hall between 2.00pm - 4.00pm. We'll be selling loads of yummy cakes and biscuits, so come and visit us.
